Yes! The comprehensive Immigration Bill is the best remedy not just address the issues facing the Arizona Law or any other state that wants to follow the footsteps ............ but for us too. There has been no legislation for employment based immigrants for many years now, and we are stuck in impossible situations - Yes CIR is a way for us too!

I will also post a textual link on my online party invitation website where several indians visit and send their party invitations.
Currently there are 2 indian families celebrating housewarming party using my website with close to 75 guests and i have several email id's who in the past have used my website.
I hope i atleast get the attention of few indians to this website and our cause.

Does the 45 day limit on being able to use a LC mean that priority dates from an approved LC and I-140 can no longer be ported when the GC process is started again through a new employer ?

after 140 is approved!! Only then can u port your PD. Otherwise you will start at the end of line again....

my wife's case was little different, Most of the time they(SSN office staff) don't know the procedure. It happned to my wife who entered US on H1B and we went to SSN office 3rd day after her arrival. The representative told us to wait 2 weeks and then apply as shw can't pull the data, we went very next day and told that we have called the office and they said there is no such rule to wait, the representative should accept your application immidiately. the lady took our application and guess what - less than 2 weeks we received SSN card for my wife.
My wife's H1 got approved & it is valid from October Ist. When she went to Social Security Office today 9/30 - they denied saying they can't pull up her information in their system (from INS) & hence they can't issue the SSN.
She was carrying her I-797 approval (along with I-94).
Anyone else faced a similar situation ? Any suggestions.

FYI: I am a derivative I-485 applicant (my spouce is a primary 485 applicant).
So, Did you mean I can join an employer on EAD and file for green card processing (labor cert, 140, and 485) as a primary applicant with my prospective employer?

You can use the EAD to start working. Then start the GC process. But I dont think you can caputre the 2003 EB3 PD for your EB2. Only your spouse can port the PD if he starts his GC in EB2. I believe you can not port your spouse's PD for your GC. So whats the use of doing this. You will be having EB2 PD sometime in 2010 as it takes 3-6 months time to file the PERM.

Mahindra has been selling farm vehicles, tractors and stuff, in the USA for quite some time now. I doubt if you want to buy a tractor.

Yeah, they do sell tractors and have second highest market share. However I was talking about their pickup and SUV going to be introduced in next few months.
The derogatory comments, everytime some one talks about vehicle made in india (or any third world country) by readers motivates me more to buy one.

First, get in touch with a consulate that issued your visa and ask for some kind of a confirmation that a visa was in fact issued to you. Second, you can try to get a replacement of lost departure/arrival record with USCIS. On the application you write a date when you arrived and place and all the details. If they find info in their computer, they will issue to you a "duplicate" of your original arrival I-94. To request replacement of record, you can use I-102.

USCIS might be processing the applications in the order of recipt date
(need not adjudicate the application which is based on priority date)
So, i think USCIS can process applications without priority date being current.

Smart man Anders!! I did the same thing a few weeks ago on one of my bird images!
My reasoning was slightly different in that at iso 1600 often there is little to no noise on the subject but tons in the OOF region! And NI removes detail and sharpness which I hate! So I did the same thing to background while holding the birds definition!
Enjoy and never worried about does this look natural question anymore! Nothing looks natural to me anymore :)

you can re-enter with previous visa stamp with company A's annotation as long as it is still valid..however, you need to have the latest I-797 approval notice from your current employer and show it to the immigration officer at the poe...
